Under normal circumstances, change of school is not encouraged and supported by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. However, where this cannot be avoided, the requirements are:

1. The candidate can only be transferred in first (1st) year.
2. He/She must have been indexed in the former school.
3. The two (2) principals must agree to release from former school and accept in the new school.
4. Must obtain application form for transfer with payment of ten thousand (N10,000) in Bankdraft to Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
5. Must not leave former school until the application for transfer is approved by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
6. Must not be a candidate who has been advised to withdraw from training from former school.

REQUIRMENT FOR CHANGE OF SCHOOL

1. Complete application for transfer duly signed by the two (2) principals with correct information required by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in triplicate including reason for changing of school.
2. Two (2) recent passport photographs.
3. Photocopy of admission letter.
4. Letter of attestation from parent/Guardian with a promise of good behaviour of student.
5. Transcript of academic performance of the student in the former school on subject basis.
6. Hand written application for change of school.
