INDEXING PROCEDURES.
 
  1. Receipt of Indexing forms from School.
  2. Cross checking the on-line to be sure the names are there.
  3. Recording the indexing pack in incoming register.
  4. Transfer of the pack to the desk officer for the programme for approval.
  5. Checking of the pack to be sure that the requirements for indexing are met.
  6. Approval is granted.
  7. Indexing pack is sent to on-line desk officer for the programme.
  8. Assignment of on-line index numbers by the on-line staff (desk officer)
  9. Downloading and printing of on-line numbers by the on-line desk officer for the programme.
  10. Cross checking for typographic and other error.
  11. Signature endorsement and sealing of the indexing.
  12. Despatching to Admin unit for final posting to various institutions concerned.
